

No matter what happens, this trailer sets the stage for yet another thrilling outing in the animated realm as the Spider-Verse sees a full expansion. It does, however, tease an imminent matchup with the impressively powerful Spider-Man 2099 as Miles leaves his own world for the first time.Īs Oscar Isaac takes on his second concurrent Marvel role alongside his Moon Knight solo series, fans are excited to see the intensity that the Marvel veteran brings to an animated setting. This trailer doesn't reveal too much of the story, with just about 30 seconds of footage showing anything beyond Miles and Gwen in his bedroom. Even though Miles admits that he's grounded for some unknown reason, Gwen nudges him by indicating that Spider-Man isn't grounded, pushing the young hero to suit up again for another adventure.

Kicking off right from the final scene of Into the Spider-Verse, Miles sees Hailee Steinfeld's Gwen Stacy hovering above him through a portal in his bedroom before she finds out how he lives at home. The title is based on the 2014-2015 Marvel Comics Spider-Verse event, which saw just about every spider-powered character breaching their dimensional barriers to battle Morlun and the Inheritors.
